Dr. Kimberly Berg has a BS in biochemistry from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing on the Central Coast of CA as a small animal veterinarian since 1999. Dr. Berg has particular interest in internal medicine, preventative medicine and endocrine diseases. She is also uniquely skilled in small animal ultrasonography. This tool can offer diagnoses and help with timely decisions on treatment that other diagnostics cannot. Dr. Kimberly enjoys singing, dance, horseback riding, aerial silks and spending as much time with her daughters as possible!
Dr. Gerrit Berg has a BS in biology from St. John’s University in Minnesota and obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Gerrit enjoys singing at his church, basketball and surfing with his daughters.
Shannon joined our team in 2012 and has been a wonderful addition to our hospital! She always has a smile for our patients and their owners and is an avid animal lover. When not at our office she can usually be found at the gym with her daughters who both participate in competitive gymnastics.
Kara has been a part of our team since 2011 and has many years of technician experience both in emergency medicine/critical care and general practice. Kara works part-time most Fridays at our office and maintains another full time position as wife and mother.
Noelle is currently studying Animal Science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is thrilled to be a part of our team. Her positive, upbeat attitude helps keep our patients at ease and makes her an asset to our team. When not working at the hospital she can be found riding her horse or snuggling with her baby ball python Pi.
